Who We Are

Events & Stories is a boutique event planning studio specializing in vow renewals, anniversary celebrations, and milestone birthdays. We thoughtfully craft events for hosts who value beauty, meaning, and ease.

It all began with short stories. Our founder, María Paulina Camejo, started her career in storytelling, publishing short fiction in a local newspaper while pursuing a degree in Literature. She went on to publish three novels, but along the way realized something unexpected: while she deeply loved stories, writing novels was not where she felt most fulfilled.

While pursuing a Master’s in Motion Pictures, María Paulina began working in film development and production. It was there that everything clicked. More than writing or developing scripts, she discovered she loved managing the production itself, bringing a story to life by guiding it from idea to reality. This became a pivotal moment: a recognition of talents and passions that had quietly been there all along.

At the same time, newly married, she began hosting intimate dinners in her home. One night, at 1:00 a.m., ironing a linen napkin for a dinner the following evening, she had another realization: she loved creating beauty for others, down to the smallest detail.

And that is how Events & Stories was born.

We design beautiful events with intention, focusing on the emotions that transform a lovely day into an unforgettable experience. Every detail is thoughtfully curated to tell a story that reflects your values, your life, and your taste.

    This film is typically shared during the celebration. It brings guests together and often becomes the most remembered part of the evening.

    The Heirloom Story Album is a curated, printed keepsake designed after your celebration and combining photography with written narration that captures how the evening unfolded, the atmosphere, and the moments in between.

    Thoughtfully designed and presented in a keepsake box, this album becomes something to return to and, eventually, to pass on.
